ERSE laminated iron core inductors offer a very low DC resistance while maintaining high saturation levels and low distortion ratings. Every ERSE inductor is made from highly purified copper wire that’s been coated with insulating enamel then wound using precision layering equipment to maintain the crystalline structure of the wire. This quality manufacturing process keeps tolerances within 3% so you can be confident when using them in all of your speaker building projects. Their high power handling makes them ideal when used in woofer circuits. The bobbin can handle high temperatures and the screw holes allow for secure mounting on your circuit board. ERSE also gives you 2.5″ wire leads with 1.2″ of that tinned for easy soldering.

Frequently Asked Questions
The tips are tinned from the manufacturer to make soldering easier. You should solder to the tinned tips, not the copper colored sections of an inductor.
The silver tips have been tinned for easy soldering. If you remove the silver part of the wire then you need to scrape off the red coating from the wires until you see bare copper, then solder to that.
No. Inductors do not have polarity.
No, you can use hot melt glue or any decent glue to hold them on your circuit board. We usually recommend a zip tie over the inductor to hold it in place just in case your glue isn’t strong enough.
